This Law is currently under revision by the Afghan Parliament and the Ministry of Justice.
The revised version will be put on the website as soon as it is finalized and singed by the president.
General Provisions
Article 1: The Basis
This Law has been enacted pursuant to Articles 10 and 37 of the Constitution of
Afghanistan in order to promote and develop telecom services, regulate and supervise the
telecom market, guide the relationship between the Telecom Regulatory Authority (TRA)
and Operators or Service Providers, Users and other interested parties in this country.
